About Me

Hi there!  My name is Veronica Stark and I love costumes.  I make historical costumes, cosplay, dancewear, and more for myself and others.  I plan to use this blog to document my progress on all my progress from 2017 and on.  I never really documented my process before so if you read my posts and have additional questions that I didn't address please let me know so I can update accordingly.  Here are some of my recently completed projects from the last year or so.

My Husband Jimmy and I as Pinkie Pie and Rarity at the Texas Renaissance Festival

 A group of friends and I did a mashup of Sailor Senshi and Renaissance wenches for the Texas Renaissance Run.  This was a mud run, so this might be the only photos we ever take of these costumes because they got so muddy that day.

A Tudor ensemble I made for myself based off portraits of Catherine Parr and Jane Seymour.  This has been the most expensive and time consuming costume I have made to date.

Two ballet commissions: the blue bodice was for a competition and has an ombre silk skirt with it.  The peach tutu is for the Sugar Plum Fairy and was decorated by someone else.
